The Nassau County Department of Health is operated and staffed by a group of the most intelligent, supportive and generous individuals I have come across in my 3 decades of food operations in several states. They educate and encourage, provide solutions instead of creating problems and are there for you when you need them. Starting a food business during a pandemic could have been a true challenge but this group made it easy. Kudos and gratitude NCDH!!! We could not have built our dream without you!

This health department will lie to you. They will not assist in matters that they are tasked to do. They simply make up lies that it is not their responsibility and you must seek assistance elsewhere. Likely they are covering up more. This department is crooked.

I got my first dose of the Covid Vaccine yesterday. From the registration process, to the department EMAILING ME to set up the appointment to getting the actual vaccine I experienced a FIRST CLASS OPERATION!I’ve been been on the NYS site for about a month. Closest appointment was Plattsburgh. Only a 450 mile drive there and 450 back and then again in 3 weeks. INSANE!!Thank you to County Executive Laura Curran, Dr Lawrence Eisenstein, The Police Department and ALL AND EVERY employee and volunteer to make this process so smooth and efficient
