As the oldest bakery in the state of Texas with the tastiest treats and amazing staff I feel my little 5☆ review is woefully inadequate. Everything is made fresh in house with love, that much is clear. The prices are very reasonable. 100% worth stopping in, I promise.

Naegelin’s German Bakery is a long time family favorite, I have fond memories of being taken here by my parents and rewarded with a pastry of choice, I passed that tradition along to my kids and now it is a must stop and I look forward to taking my grand kids eventually. I was fortunate to take my dad during covid and loved seeing the look on his face as he remembered all the times he and mom took me. We got some donuts, took home some bread and cookies, it was a great day!!

My niece was celebrating her 1st birthday, and I was very happy with the two cakes ordered.I got assistance carrying one of the cakes out to my vehicle, and the people we shared it with loved how the both of them tasted. Also, the eclairs are delicious!The red Elmo cake was a smash cake, and the white one with polka dots was the main cake for others to eat.My nephew’s birthday is coming up, and we will definitely be going back again.*We did have to order both cakes at least 2 weeks in advance to make sure they would be ready on time.
