I had a very good experience at Mrs. London’s Bakery. Wide selection of goods were available and I was able to secure some fresh bread for a Chili that we planned to make later in the day. We also got a cinnamon pastry along with chocolate and almond flavored croissants. Both of which tasted really good and had a nice balance between savory and sweet. Checkout process was very quick and the staff were very friendly. I feel that most people know the difference between a hard French baguette and an Italian one, but I learned that the hard way later today. However, it still worked out really well with the Chili especially since we went with the thick version of the French Baguette which was recommended to us by a staff member who was working there. I have no real complaints. Please check out Mrs. London’s Bakery if you have the chance!

While we came in for delicious treats, we sadly left with bad tastes in our mouths….Mrs. London, you need to send your staff to etiquette school! While waiting to be helped, we abruptly hear an employee call out THERE IS WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS SHOP! This was followed by an uncomfortable questioning of everyone on line and who they were with. It felt unwarranted since everyone was wearing masks and acting appropriately. While luckily we weren’t scolded out of the store, the people behind us were rudely told to wait outside in the cold (to which we should have left along with them, just on principle).I understand there is a pandemic but there is a right way to talk to your customers. It is not our fault a line is forming inside your store because service isn’t moving quick enough. It is also ungracuous to act like you are doing us a favor when in fact, we put our anxieties aside to support your local business. I attached a photo of the desserts we bought yet I do not care to review them. You should however, probably address your employees attitudes.

Tasty desserts in downtown Saratoga springs. The fruit tart was excellent. The croissant was good. There are a lot of appetizing looking cakes unfortunately were only available in full cakes, that’s my only feedback is they could have now individual portions for people to try.
