I have gone to Mountain View Surplus for probably 20 years. They have REAL military surplus items, lots of hard-to-find items, and lots of items for camping. Great place for snow boots and such. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Plan to spend some time there because there are worthwhile items on every shelf.

In my life there aren’t many places left that still hold genuine nostalgia. Uniqueness and actual quality in any retail situation is also extremely elusive these days.. Mountain View Surplus managed to combine both of these fast fading concepts under one roof, and topped off the sundae with a warm family vibe & knowledgeable customer service! Do not pass up a opportunity to drink up some fresh squeezed sunshine inside this store. I can’t wait to go back myself.
