… you can see seals, otters, and sea lions in the bay. Great cafeteria program reducing the amount of plastic and single use items. Friendly staff, good sovenior stores.

The aquarium was great; good exhibits and information. The store sucks ass. Didn’t have a shirt in my size and nothing else there interested me one bit. Get me a shirt I …

I Adore this place. The exhibits are beautifully crafted and you can tell there is so much thought put into the interactive sections for kids. Hands down my favorites were always the jellyfish. The way the lighting was set up just made them pop in contrast in the water. They have plenty of scheduled events. Great for kids and adults. It’s the best aquarium I’ve been to thus far. If I ever get the chance to go back over to that side of the country, I’ll be heading back there again to see what new things they’ve added.

It’s an aquarium with adorable marine life so pretty great unless you don’t like animals being put on display. I thought some of the areas for the wildlife were a bit small, the sea birds and sea otters enclosures. The sea birds kept flying into the glass and just didn’t appear to have sufficient space, it was kinda sad. Adorable place to visit. I don’t believe the aquarium has its own parking so make sure to arrive early to find parking. FYI, they don’t have cetaceans here.

This is a very big aquarium so put on your walking shoes! It’s very well planned out as far as timed entry and distancing. There are plenty of sanitizing stations which are needed because there are plenty of hands on things. The displays for the fish are fantastic. Everything is visible but the habitats are a good size. My 5 year old loved the otters and the hands on things the most. My 14 year old liked the sharks and plentiful sanitizing stations. Lol. I live in the Bay Area but would definitely make the drive here again and get a membership.
