Monte Santo is a wonderful State Park. Nice trails for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. The campsites for both tents and RVs are very nice. The bathroom facilities are clean, and the staff are very friendly.

They have lots of camping options, as well as more than a few cabins to use as well!It has glorious views from on top of the mountain, with amazing spanning vistas.The park is generally clean and well-kept.I highly recommend!

We had a really nice walk around the South Loop though the large rattlesnake we saw did give us pause for a momentary cause. Be sure you are watching where you step. We nearly stepped on him.
