Modern Brides is a full service bridal and formalwear boutique. Our clients enjoy a wonderful, stress free experience while choosing their attire for their special day. Appointments are suggested for the bride to choose her gown and our consultants will help her choose her accessories to complete her look. We also offer the bride’s attendants discounts to do their attire with us.The groom will receive a free tuxedo rental with a party of 6 or more. Fittings are scheduled with our in house seamstress. We offer a 90 day layaway plan, two complimentary pressing of the wedding gown, and wedding gown preservation to all of our brides. We also host North Alabama largest bridal show twice a year – The Celebrations Bridal Event.

My experience at Modern Brides was incredible. From the moment I walked in I felt like family. Meredith was extremely professional and walked me through the process to make sure I was comfortable. She was sure to check on me throughout the blur of dresses and fabric and accessories to make sure I wasn’t feeling too much pressure or stress. Just wow! Modern Brides was one of my first places to look for my bridal gown. While I ultimately purchased my dress elsewhere (picky bride but they tried SO hard to please me!), I chose to have my alterations done here. I’m so glad I did! Shopping for and fitting my wedding dress and my bridesmaids’ dresses at Modern Brides was an excellent experience. I and two of my bridesmaids were coming from out of town, and the ladies at MB were very accommodating and helpful in organizing our fittings. They were in touch with regular updates on the dresses’ arrivals and alterations. Miss Pat did an excellent job on the alterations–even managing well that one of my bridesmaids lost 40 pounds between measurements and the fittings. Everyone at MB is very friendly and very helpful.I absolutely would recommend Modern Brides as the place to shop for wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses!
