Fantastic history of the teal Mardi Gras and amazing things to see. Great tour and tons of information by Craig Robert’s. Very amazing to see how much time and money goes into the true Mardi Gras and the families that support so many jibs.

It was nice. I thought it would be a little bigger but was definitely worth going. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly

We opted to do the telephone tour, because we just missed the start of a tour, and didn’t want to impose. I was taking a few photos of some of the displays when the docent giving the guided tour came to us and asked if we were informed about the phone guided tours. I answered in the affirmative and he stared at my phone and proceeded to say, You do know what you’re doing, right? Otherwise, you’re just looking at pretty things. The condescending tone of the guide was such a turn off that we left. Everyone else was amazing, and I’m sure the rest of the museum was great, but to be talked to in that manner was not called for.
