Ordered brake pads, due Tuesday, came in early on Monday. Went in to pick them up, super personable Devin handed them over and almost sold me a new bike- a few more $$$ saved and gonna be mine! Not always a fan of the big shops, but Mike’s has stood the test of time.

I called many bikes shop around town looking for Specialized tires had to look on Google and it lead me to mikes bikes in Berkeley I came from fairfield nice guy name Andre hooked it up with the best service A+++ I picked up 2 specialized tires and a tube also he told me my brakes are bad so I got them fixed also for sure coming back for an upgraded bike for my birthday on May 11 #teamspecialized

Worst service department experience ever! They told me that they would rebuild my Fox/Specialized rear shock and RockShox front forks. After dropping them off, they told me only Specialized could rebuild the shock and put in an RMA with Specialized Service Department. 3.5 weeks later I am told Specialized refused to do the work, after telling Mike’s they would do it. Not Mike’s fault, but still a poor business practice.With the front forks, the General Service Manager told me they would do an inspection and service and call me with an estimate. They never called, after 1.5 weeks I called them. They told me the fork was old, in good shape, but there were no updates or upgrades available. They also told me the forks were rebuilt with new seals and ready for pickup.A week later I picked up the parts, only to find out they never started work on the forks at all!Mike’s is very proud that they can text people, so they won’t bother their customers, but they never read a single response!Almost a month with my bicycle in parts and not a single ounce of work was performed.Absolutely, horrible customer service!Needless to say, Mike’s Bikes and Specialized will not see my business ever again and I have stopped recommending both businesses.
