My niece invited me to go to brunch yesterday at Midtown Creperie. I have heard of this place before but never had gone there. We were seated right away & our server was very friendly. I asked her for a recommendation on what to order. She recommended the strawberry crepe and wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious & the right amount to satisfy my appetite. My niece ordered a bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation since I haven’t seen my niece for a while. It was not noisy like some restaurants I have been to. Will look forward to go back to try some of the menu items.

A Diners Drive Inns and Dives stop. I have to assume that Guy got a better Pre-Planneddemic version of the dishes than I experienced. The Hostess was the best part of the experience. Super nice and not scared to have a customer sit down to eat in Governor Newsom’s Socialist Distancing California. Had the Tri-Tip crepe and the Smores crepe. I’d visit again BECAUSE of the customer experience.

If I could give it a 0 star review I would. My wife, 3 year old, and I drove an hour out of the way on a road trip to check this place out because DD&D recommended it. Was very much looking forward to it but after arriving at 1:06, we were told they closed early today. Normally close at 2 but hostess said sorry, we’re done for today. When I told her we drove quite a bit to get here during normal hours she just said sorry and shrugged her shoulders and ran off. My daughter was devastated she couldn’t get crepes. Fallen far from DD&D days and clearly not suffering from COVID if they can close early whenever they feel like it and offer no explanation to their customers. I would give business to others in need that stay open.
