My daughter goes to school at New Paltz and called me saying that she had a flat tire. She sent me a pic and it looked as though it was obviously caused by a nail. I sent her to Midas cause it was nearby thinking they would do the right thing and help her out, I was wrong. Instead they told her the tire needed to be replaced for $150. I had a feeling they saw a young girl and tried to get one over on her. I was right. I called Mavis Tire, another local shop and not only did they repair the tire but they DID NOT CHARGE her a penny. Guess who gets my business from now on? And if you have a child that goes to school here, do not send them to Midas, they will be taken advantage of. Mavis is close by and runs a much better, ethical business.
