Went in for St. Patrick’s Day crafts. Week and half before, no crafting items for decorating or for building a leprechaun trap. Was very disappointing for kids also. Walked out only with pad of construction paper and glitter glue.We were A.C. Moore shoppers, now this is only place locally. We love to craft and I just don’t find Michaels has everything we need for our projects. Missing great floral picks, foam crafts, yard decorations, so many seasonal items loved all the bins at AC Moore. I always walked out with tons of bags.Michaels has many items to decorate inside your house but it’s also supposed to have plenty of items to craft…. right? I did find it expensive, now only 20% coupon. People have told me to try Joannes and Hobby Lobby. Loved A.C. Moore… sad it’s gone.

Curbside service was excellent. The item that was ordered over the store’s website ended up being out of stock. However, the curbside staff apologized and asked if the out of stock item could be substituted. Since this order was made by my Step Daughter, I indicated that I would have to call her to find out. The store clerk took the time to fully describe what I needed to know about the substitution and I called to confirm if the substitution would be okay. In the end, the store clerk ended up pleasing my daughter with a successful delivery of an item which fulfilled what my Step Daughter needed. As far as I was concerned, this is an excellent example of what customer service should about!
