I thought at 10 in the morning I was gonna find breakfast for my dad. Instead I found myself in a smothered POKE chop (YES I SAID POKE), candied yams, Mac and cheese and conebread (YES I SAID CONE). It was very good. The price kinda got me for meat and three (no drink, no dessert) $17.40 but the food was gewd…(YES I SAID GEWD).

I went & got a turkey wrap from there & it was delicious! But the best thing about it was how nice the owner was. I told her I will definitely be back to try the shrimp & grits when I have time to dine in! It was a very clean & friendly environment.

I walked into the cafe, looking for something sweet. I was greeted with a smile and was told that there was red velvet cake. I thought, white people don’t eat red velvet…, but I got a piece for my neighbor. When I got the cake slice home, it called to me. It said, Try me! After finding out that my neighbor was out of town, I decided to nibble the cake. Wow! It was so tasty!! All my previous assumptions were dead wrong. White people need to eat this. I’ll be back to the cafe later!
