This is a great place to work ! With a lot of great people to work with. I’ve been working for MEI going on 11 years . We install all types of medical equipment for one of the biggest companies in the world. Therfore, we are set to a high standard. Dress code, long hours and yes, you have to be away from your family a lot.That comes with the job description. You also must have good people skills and have some mechanical skills. It’s not a job for just anyone. You have to be able to follow instructions well and follow step by step procedures for assembly of equipment.All in all, it’s a great company to work for! They offer great benefits from health-care to 401k and a wide variety of safety training.

I take great pride in the work I do. I have been employed with MEI Inc. over four years. Within this period, I have learned a few things in regards to the actual meaning of teamwork and family. It is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that truly values their employees. My coworkers are more like an extension of my family. We always work as a team to accomplish our assigned work. We are treated with respect and dignity. The office staff communicates well with us and answers all questions within a timely manner.The company itself requires all employees to adhere to a high level of standards. We are required to wear uniforms, a name badge and follow all safety guidelines. Additionally, while working, we have an obligation to conduct ourselves in a professional manner.Safety is a priority. MEI does not cut corners and follows all regulatory guidelines. Each employee is given a sufficient orientation period. The company understands that family comes first. My wife was scheduled to have surgery during one of our busiest times of the year. The company encouraged me to take all the time I needed to be off to help with her care. Many companies would not have been as accommodating.I am thankful for my position as a lead installer it has supported myself and family very well. The benefits the company offers are second to none. Installing medical equipment is demanding; you are required to work hard! However, knowing that the equipment can assist in detecting health problems such as cancer, broken bones or other conditions can make a huge difference in someone’s life reminds me daily I am making a difference just as MEI Inc. has made a difference in my life.
