Our kitchen design experience with McManus Group couldn’t have been better. Unlike other design/construction companies we considered, McManus came TO US for our first appointment. Owner Maggie McManus and Principal Designer Kathryn Martin got a feel for our home and our style before making any suggestions or doing any pricing.Kathryn brought us some inventive solutions we would never have thought of to make our smallish kitchen both functional and stylish – and still compatible with our 1930’s-era house. She matched us with a local contractor who gave us high-quality work and who was on schedule and on-budget. And she saw the project through from start to finish, ever patient with our concerns and questions. I highly recommend Maggie and Kathryn for your kitchen design project!

I cannot say enough good things about Maggie and McManus Group. I had first heard about her when I attended the Nyack house tour and saw a kitchen she had done. It was beautiful. It was cozy and happy and filled with character. I said to my husband, “That’s the kitchen I want!”Fast forward a few years, and was time to remodel the very 1990s kitchen in our very 1940s house. Our kitchen space is tiny and I had bunch of ideas for it (and even some vintage appliances/items I collected) but no idea how to synthesize everything together and make it fit in a compact space. So we called Maggie!She was a lifesaver. So kind, so excited about the project, and so easy to work with. We used the services of the MacManus group for the remodeling of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The work was completed 6 months ago and we are really happy with the results. Throughout the process, Kathryn was a pleasure to work with: attentive, patient, creative and responsive. She communicated effectively with our GC, enabling the project to go smoothly despite the unexpected challenges due to the pandemic. There were a few mistakes along the way but they were addressed in a timely and professional manner. Overall we are satisfied and would gladly work with Kathryn again.
