Extremely slow to take orders, line was out the door and there was more people inline than in dinning room, but only one person taking orders. After we ordered, heard them shout to kitchen you all need to put hair nets on, they found multiple hairs in their food. Won’t be back

I’m a huge fan of the McAlister’s brand. I went to college in Oxford, MS, and spent several years enjoying McAlister’s original location (old movie set, very unique!). I lived in Phoenix, AZ, and was happy to find a McAlister’s out there to enjoy as well. I love a good McAlisters! However, this McAlister’s need to improve. First it took way too long to get from the door to the point of sale. With one person in line, 1 waited 10 min before approaching a cashier. Then, I got skipped in line by one of the cashiers. One of them even said something, and either the available cashier ignored or didn’t hear. From there, I was able to order my club sandwich, and was told after the transaction was complete that there was a bus ahead of me and it would take upwards of 15 mins to make my sandwich. I pressed for an explanation, and only got a shoulder shrug. Other customers appeared to be waiting a really long time to place orders and get refills. There was also a pile of to go orders idly stacked in the window. At one point during my wait, I was offered a cookie. I’m not mad, so I declined. ended up waiting 20 mins for my sandwich. The bread tasted like there was maybe spilled liquid that got absorbed into it. I still ate it. The tea was good.Overall, for an $11 sandwich and a national brand that is known for quality, this experience missed the mark. I recommend either Longhorn around the corner, or either the Moes or 5 Guys in the same shopping center.

We waited awhile for our food, but it was worth the wait. Thanks for the gluten-sensitive menu items.
