Buying a mattress is SO confusing – gel foam? cool gel? coils? all foam? Purple? Hybrid??? I did a bunch of searching online, where prices varied wildly, then decided with a purchase this important to my well-being, maybe I should take the time to go to a store & actually lay down on one.Enter Mike at Alameda Mattress Firm and I got a fabulous mattress and high-tech adjustable frame in the price range I could afford. Mike really worked hard to find the best options (based on my answers to his knowledgeable questions) and the best discounts for the combo I wanted. I was able to test all the different types of mattress and when I price compared online, adding all available discounts, I would have paid $1K more than I did at the store.Unless you already know and have tested exactly the best option for you, don’t take a chance online – do yourself a favor and visit Alameda MF – ask for Mike!

Stopped in Saturday evening with my parents to shop for a new mattress. Our salesperson, George Segura – the new store manager – made the experience AWESOME! In general, when I am shopping for big ticket items, I HATE feeling pressured to buy – with that in mind, I REALLY appreciated George’s approach. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and most importantly (for me), more than willing to give me space to try out different mattresses and think about what works best for me without hovering or pressuring me to make a quick decision / buy something right then and there. Also, when I did decide on a mattress, George put together an AMAZING deal for me and I am now the proud owner of a super awesome new mattress and frame! I’m really glad I chose to go here and definitely recommend it if you’re in need of a mattress and looking for an honest & trustworthy experience!

Pleasant experienceKnowledgeable store employeeDid not write information with attention and made several mistakes like charging for old mattress pick up when we had said no pick up. Corrected mistakes but 4 days later we are still waiting for our credit.We like our mattress and we will test it tonight.
