We purchased a queen-sized shikibuton from Matsu to replace our air mattress for camping. I’ve always hated air mattresses so we were ready for something new.Our shikibuton was beautifully custom-made and ready within a few days. It was pretty affordable, made a world of difference for camping, and we now also have it available for house guests.

Very nice selection of Japanese fabrics and bedding. You’ve also got a wall of interesting Asian knick knacks on the tight side. This is one of the few places in the Bay Area you can buy tatami and associated furniture like mattresses, zaisu, zabuton and tea tables. The owner is very nice and was very transparent about back ordered items
