After moving to NYC a year ago, I found Marie’s based on online reviews (you have to read carefully, beware of reviewers with low number of reviews that gives 1-star ratings). Our girls have been getting their monthly grooming done at Marie’s, and we’ve been 100% satisfied with every visit. We love that Marie’s uses Square to manage their grooming appointments. The text and email reminders are helpful, and easily syncs with my calendar so I don’t miss an appointment. As other customers of Marie’s have pointed out: my girls don’t fight me as we walk through the front door. My dogs are very sensitive towards abusive groomers, and they clearly don’t mind going to Marie’s. Marie’s also don’t use treats to bribe the dogs either (the one with IBD will let me know in the afternoon if she’s gotten ill-gained treats from the groomer in the morning). Prices are higher by around $10 compared to other grooming places in the area, but doesn’t your beloved pet deserve the kind and gentle handling of a good groomer? As with any proud owner, here are a couple photos of the girls after their recent annual summer shave at Marie’s. Aren’t they the cutest?!

1st time taking my girl (Chihuahua) to a groomer. Marie was welcoming, sweet, highly professional & tactful while keeping the human touch. The reasonable prices are the cherry on top.Gone are the days of wrestling Lara into the tub as we’re more than cheerful to have Marie do the honors. Truly looking forward to our next visit!!!
