Maple Ski Ridge has been a family owned and operated ski resort since 1963, designed for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. Learn to ski and snowboard at one of the best ski centers in NY’s Capital District and the leader in after-school and weekend ski/snowboard programs for kids. Maple Ski Ridge also offers many events throughout the year and a 10-week summer camp, starting in June, called Camp Maple. Camp Maple is a great way for the kids to get outside and have some fun while on summer break.

Beautiful place to learn to ski… great for kids and adults. Just remember not to go there during peak hours which are probably every weekend morning till lunch time. The line for the bunny slope lift is good 10 min. I’d walk but I wasn’t allowed. And masks EVERYWHERE yes even outside

I signed up for my first ski lesson. The girl at the front desk was very helpful. The guys at the rental shop were awesome. I signed up for a 2 hour lesson and didn’t really know what to expect for my first time. My instructors name was Alex. She seemed extremely knowledgeable. She was attentive, patient and by the end of the lesson I was comfortable putting on/off ski’s, turning, walking with ski’s and going down hill. I still have a lot to learn but I loved the experience. Its like nothing else lol. For sure coming back..plus I didn’t know there was a place to ski so close. I live in Amsterdam and this beats traveling over an hour to the other places I saw online. Having a great teacher makes the whole experience wonderful. Alex is an asset to Maple Ski Ridge. From the lady at the front to the rental shop and my lesson you guys are all rock stars!….Thank you for the awesome experience Maple!….Recommend for sure!

For starters the place offers a line you grab and take you somewhat up and feel free to practice there, but lines can get long at times. There’s a crossover between the beginners slope and the blue slope 1/3 of the way which allows you to enhance the practice. Ultimately there are a series of slopes for you to join. Small place for ski, reasonable prices, not too congested, and full of fun. Tip… Get tickets online in advanced and get as early as possible because you’ll enjoy until 6 PM.
