The ice cream is great, but service isn’t. Recently we came here a several times and ordered ice cream and yogurt. I asked for a small cup and just a bit of yogurt. The older salesperson asked if I will need some toppings, I said yes, so she grabbed a larger cup. I said I don’t need that much yet she didn’t listen and proceeded with a bigger cup. I threw away most of it because it was too much and I didn’t ask for it, and felt unhappy about the money wasted plus I left a good tip. Next visit she does the same thing. I stopped her and said that she shouldn’t do it and that I will have to throw it away. Ok. Now she takes me to the payment process and I see $20 on a screen for two small ice creams. I stared at the screen studying why on Earth it came out $20? She sees me reading and she immediately started substituting extra charges. And for this reason we will NEVER be back.

What’s the perfect compliment to a day at the beach? Ice cream after! Whenever we’re in Malibu and want an ice cream fix, we go to Malibu Yo! It is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking. While there isn’t too much room inside, they outside seating area is kind of nice too. There is a large fountain that my son loves, so even though you’re looking at a parking lot, it’s still super relaxing.The staff is generally friendly and proficient at what they do. The ice cream is delicious and they have a lot to choose from. Fro yo soft serve? Traditional ice cream? Snow cones and iced? They’ve got it all!The one negative is the price! I got two small bowls of ice cream, one milk shake and a 2.50 lemonade and the total was $23! Really? I almost asked to make sure it was right but there was a line forming in back of me, so I didn’t.Other than price, we love this place!

Really liked how they had numerous flavors to try from. Very unique and tasty flavors. I tried the famous saffron and had the French Lavender Ice cream. The employees were very nice and made us new ice creams after a lost man stuck his finger in our ice cream.
