It’s a shame that the Irish Import Shop isn’t even close to being as good as it was before being sold. I went to get some Christmas goodies, and there are hardly any shelves for food items anymore. I think the new owner wants to make it an entertainment venue instead of the import shop. You can still find a few Irish things, but about 1/8 the amount and selection they had before.The Gold Crown Christmas cake I bought, was the about the only thing of its kind on the shelf, so I bought it. $20.00. It was so stale that I spat it out when we served it on Christmas! The marzipan had gone off completely and it tasted like it was 10 years on a shelf. Needless to say, this is not the place for Irish or English goodies anymore.
