Your typical MAC store, the great thing with this place is the outside ambience of The Mall.

I like the products but I am reviewing the customer service at this location since we can buy any product we want their website. unfortunately the salespeople the last few times I have visited have not had customer service at the forefront. I walked in and was not greeted- I was not sure who the sales person was.I was not sure how to get the product I came in for so I started trying to open the drawers to find what I needed. The sales person, who had been talking to another customer (understandably, but she did not acknowledge me previously so I was unsure when I would be assisted) told me “I’ll help you in a minute but we can’t let you go through our things”. I was not aware, and never would have if I knew who was going to help me, but her comment made me feel like I was rifling through someone’s private property and that I was not welcome. I understand if she’s the only one staffed, but that’s not an excuse for rudeness. funnily enough I had to visit The Body Shop right after MAC and their sales person was also the only one on staff and she told me ahead of time that there was a wait because she was dealing with a complicated order and that she was sorry and she appreciated my patience- a HUGE difference in customer service. I had a better experience at the Body Shop waiting 10-15 min than I did at MAC waiting 5 min. Should I go to the body shop for make up next time to avoid rude sales people at MAC?
