This used to be my favorite place to shop. Not anymore. I found the most perfect rug for my office that I’ve been searching for forever! On top of that it was listed as the display being on sale for super cheap..like $65.00 or something like that.. The original price was over $100…. So after waiting for help that never showed up and literally having to go through 3 different people to help me they told me that they were not going to sell the display rug to me for that price, even though it’s clearly listed that it’s for sale for $65 or whatever the price was and they told me I would have to buy the full price one. So i load up the rug and slowly cart it all the way up to the front with no offer of help from the 4 associates I passed on the way that clearly saw me struggling with a gigantic carpet on top of my cart. I get to the checkout counter and try to roll the carpet around so she can scan the barcode and notice on one side of the carpet there was dirt embedded in the carpet. Why would I pay full price for a rug with dirt in it that may or may not come out if i clean it at home? Mind you that was the last rug besides the display rug i originally wanted and guess what.. THEY STILL WOULDN’T SELL ME THE ONLY REMAINING CLEAN RUG. It literally ruined my entire week and i think from now on I’ll be going to Home Depot (which I’m not super into so that goes to show you how much this situation frustrated me).

Had a great customer experience today in the Garden center…. I had noticed they received a nice shipment of Mediterranean Palms recently and had been intending to buy one for my patio, but hadn’t found the time to do so. As I was passing the palms I mentioned to my friend, “wow there are only three left”. Victor just happened to be standing there and said, “Sir, if you’re interested, I’m happy to discount them further for you”. He quoted me a new price and I said “sold”. When I came back to pick it up, William, Desmond, and Victor shrink wrapped the palms to protect them during transport and loaded it in my suv for me! Great customer service all around – which is sadly becoming harder and harder to find these days. Thanks, Victor, William and Desmond.
