My best friend told me all about this place and I was lucky enough to stop by on their opening day for the season this year. I was pleased with the beautiful view and the prices were very very reasonable. I enjoyed time with my son taking in the view and enjoying the ice cream. I got to chat with the staff and they were friendly and super nice to both me and my son. The owner even spent time asking our plans for that day and making conversation. The passion that he and his workers have for ice cream and his business shows! They truly seemed to care about chatting with the guests. We will definitely come back to this awesome lakeside ice cream stand with Seneca lake views, a fun playground, and some yummy mint chocolate chip. Recommend 10 out of 10!

The best place for a treat in the FLX! Great ice cream, wonderful staff and service. The staff is always smiling and delivering awesome customer service. My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit this weekend to get our favorite flavors- mint chocolate chip and sea salt caramel. The macaroni salad is to die for! Yum! Thanks for always being reliable, Long Pier! We can’t wait to come back.

Ice cream was good but service needed help! We were scolded by an employee for opening the umbrella at a table we sat at to eat our ice cream. Nowhere did it state to ask for assistance and since we had it up without damage, I’m not sure what the point was of coming to our table to yell at us for it while we sat with our kids?! And when you have a toddler working the register it seems you would have some courtesy when addressing tables with children! I’ll take my business elsewhere next time 🙁
