When your in a new town find the place that has been in business for over 40 years and you won’t be disappointed. I’m used to more spice but this was pretty good. Service was attentive. Place was very clean. They make you wait outside until table is ready. Worth a visit.

Food was ok the queso con puesto was over salted. The staff for whatever reason didn’t want to help our table out they kept going around to all the other tables. When I requested to have the queso plate swapped with another plate because it was way to salty the waitress made a face. Also be advised that cash or check is only accepted here!

Great food and service says this Florida boy. They had a sign hanging thanking the folks of Alpine Texas for 45 years. That says it all. If your traveling across West Texas on hwy 90 take a short detour and try La Casita.
