Social Profile :

““La Boulangerie” means the bread bakery in French. Chef Francois Danielo bakes the bread and the pastries and Chef Nadia DeJesus cooks the soups and the dishes, and prepares the sandwiches and the salads. The philosophy at La Boulangerie is to bake and cook small batches by our own team using high quality ingredients. We do not use preservatives or chemicals. Some of our breads use organic flours. We take our time to bake and cook our products; we do not cut corners. Our breads are given the perfect amount of time to proof, with some breads rising for 12 hours. Each bread has its own recipe and preferment. We bake our own croissants and pastries and cook our stocks from scratch. We pay great attention to detail.

Charming counter-serve featuring sweet & savory French baked goods, plus quiches & crepes.

We regret not trying La Boulangerie de Francois in our 5th year in Forest Hills because it is definitely a treasure and has been popular in the neighborhood.Visiting on a Saturday morning at around 9:00am and there was already a long line. The wait wasn’t too bad about 15 minutes. Their pastry & dessert options are various and they serve crepe on weekends, which is recommended by our friends. We tried one Almond Croissant, one Madeleine and a large latte with reasonable price (about $10). Everything was perfect especially the huge and satisfying Almond Croissant which was creamy & rich inside with crunchy layer. The latte was also decent with lovely latte art. We didn’t try the signature crepe but will be there next weekend again.

My favorite local place. It is never not busy.First photo is the Brioche au Chocolate. Easily my favorite item off the menu.Edit: Pear and Almond Tarte is now favorite item on the menu. You can also order larger sizes for a bigger party.Great coffee and espresso.

One of my all time favorite places. The pastries are to die for and the coffee and espresso are just beyond delicious. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because of price. It is so good…but wish I could visit more often without breaking the bank.
