Christmas comes early for vinyl lovers. Claremont’s very own local radio station sponsors this exclusiveannual event that comes twenty four hours after thenow famous Record Store Day.Located at the Smithcampus ballroom center this wax party has a little bit of everything related to the sound that soothes our soul. Besides your standard Lp’s they also have 45’s and picture disks. You want a little more than aprecious piece of wax? They also carry rare concertposters and hard to find memorabilia. And if that’s not enough,how about cassettes and cds with a bit of comic books on the side and Boom! And there itis,an expo full of melodic wonders. Note,not all the vendors accept plastic money or credit cards if you will so have your duckets available before entering.Parking is limited in front of the event but plenty of it around the gorgeous neighborhood campus. And that’s my take on this Vinyl lovers day event,Peace.
