KRBD Public Radio for the Ketchikan area is staffed by some of the most dedicated people who live a life of service to others. It is managed by the most engaging and hands-on board members, and there’s no shortage of programs that get whipped up and hosted by volunteers. Despite the disappointment that is the state-level decision to cut essential services like public radio, KRBD still finds a way to keep chugging along ensuring we hear breaking news and/or emergency broadcasts. Bravo!
