Excellent! You will learn so much from a short visit. The displays are Wildlife and Ecology driven with many interactive features. You can even listen to a simulated Mother Kodiak Bear’s heartbeat in the den. The space includes a full 36ft complete Grey Whale skeleton. Maps and pamphlets, including an island bird list available at the information desk. We also watched 12 minute film about the Kodiak National Refuge. Gift shop showcases local authors and artists too!
