Such a great museum, rich in East Texas history. We didn’t get to visit the museum this trip. We brought our daughter to take her ACT test. The staff was extremely professional and kind. I’m glad they had the testing there, it was a great way to show the kids the college and college atmosphere. If you are wanting to visit a great museum that’s fun for the whole family, you don’t want to miss the Oil Museum. You will not regret taking the time to stop and let this museum and it’s exhibits take you down memory lane.

Fantastic little museum we had never known about! The concept and layout is sooo cute and well thought out. You can go into all displays like the drug store, bank, and a printing press. And there’s even a old time theatre you can watch a show in! I loved the elevator to the center of the earth “ride”! Highly recommend this little piece of history!

Excellent snapshots of oil discovery and production through the years. I learned so much about oil production mechanics and history while being entertained. I highly recommend enjoying the experience provided by this well put together exhibit. Quite a bargain!
