I like Jon’s as a local spot to get supplies. This location specializes in Eastern European food, Armenian, Russian and Ukrainian food. Sometimes I find they don’t have things I want. The selection can be very particular. The lines can get overwhelmingly long if you go in at a rush hour time. Good for finding particular eastern European foods in case you might need them or want to try them. Also good for quick in and out unless there’s a long line at the register. Store is kept well clean despite the dirty scene outside full of tents and questionable characters. The area has a smoke shop, a hospital, is close to a kind of (homeless encampment) park, leads to all kinds of illicit activity.
