Well sad to say I didn’t get my watch fixed as I thought. Just a standard g shock watch that the battery finally died after 4 or 5 years. Also the pin holding my band got bent so i just needed to find someone close by. After the reviews I read thought this would be the perfect place. The owner is very nice and courteous. Process was simple just walked in asked if the battery could be replaced and if the band pin could be fixed. He said battery yes but pin maybe. Also said the watch may no longer be waterproof after the fix which was a concern but decided to let it go. Told me he would call me in an hour when he was done. So I went outside waited came back about an hour later battery replaced but pin not fixed which was fine total came to 7 bucks. Although he didn’t set the time or date I said I would. And left paying 10 as I like little independent shops. Got home and put the watch away not thinking to set it. Finished doing errands and attempted to set the time and date on the watch to no avail. Turns out the MODE button on my watch no longer functions. Which it did as of 3 days ago when the battery died. No I can not set time or date or switch to stopwatch function. On the back side where the screws are they are a bit mangled which although I didn’t feel on my shirt ride home I would feel on days I wear it longer. Great disappointment. Will try calling tomorrow to see what I can do about it.
