They never have enough staff working in the front. I knew this going into my curbside order, but put the order in anyway. Sat outside for almost an hour, tried calling and was put on hold. Finally walked in (I held off because I wasnt anticipating having to get out of my car and be presentable to other humans…learning how to re-enter society I suppose) and found 1 employee in the front area running the registers. I can’t be too harsh, it’s a Joann’s, they’ll probably have what you’re looking for, you’ll just have to wait for it.

Plano Parkway store has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I placed a big special order one day after a fabulous older lady helped me on the floor. When I placed the order, she was no longer there. Some other person reluctantly took the order….This lady who took the order was about as pleasant as a rattle snake. Acted as if I was putting her out the entire time she was keying in the items. Now it’s been two weeks. Week one, I called and couldn’t get anything more than “If you haven’t gotten a call, then it’s not here. And, no, i can’t check the status”. Called again this week and was put on hold by some girl, (while she went to ‘ask someone’). 16 minutes later lethargical, bitter young lady tells me I can come into the store for a refund or call customer service and give them my name and they could help me. Call the number she gave me and was told there is no way they can look me up by name and that the store who took the “special order” needed to call store support in order to help me. Called back a second time and asked to speak to the manager. Waited 12 minutes and manager finally picks up. I explained the situation to her and told her what customer service advised. She types in my name and says “maybe next week”. I’m a very pleasant person on the phone. I have never complained or acted ugly. It is not in my nature. I have a small business and was relying on this “special order”, so that I could complete a custom order. The manager offered no solutions, no explanation, made no phone call to store support and made no effort to resolve this situation. The store has received two shipments since I placed my order yet I cannot seem to get my order filled. If you are trying to run a business and need a supplier who cares about you, shop somewhere else. I will NEVER shop here again. I don’t see how this location is still in business.
