Been doing business with JJBuckley for more than three years now, and very much satisfied with what I’ve been able to get from them, and the pricing I’ve benefited from. Most negative comments I see about JJBuckley are clearly from people who don’t really understand the level of the fine wine trade that this business is at. When you buy some wines from them as futures, you are benefiting from advanced pricing. you pay in advance of getting your wine because JJBuckley pays well in advance. My most recent purchase was some Dérangé red wine from The Prisoner Wine Company out of Napa. A red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel, I paid about half the normal retail price, and the wine shipped within a few days of my purchase. I’m sorry to see my agent move on this week, but look forward to dealing with his successor. -Update 2021 – my current agent is Greg Bernitz, who continues to meet or EXCEED my expectations. An assortment of wines I’ve got from JJBuckley accompany this review.
