Terrible service. Extremely poor communication during pre-production. Their project manager, Jeff, was the worst effect person we’ve ever worked with. We told him exactly what we wanted and double checked with him during tech scout. But right from the beginning, he seemed uninvolved and answered all of our questions in an offhanded way, which had us a little worried. But we trusted that he knew what he was doing, only to find out during the shoot that the person in charge of the effect had no idea what she was doing. The effects turned out terrible and shots were ruined. And when we called to complain afterwards, they were only willing to refund us for the equipment, which was a tiny fraction of what we paid. So to anyone looking for good effects, avoid this place, especially if you’re low budget. They only care about making money, not making movies.
