This review is about more than just the products that the good folks at Ithaca Sheepskin make… it’s about the people that run it. I bought my pair of their sheepskin slippers over two years ago, with Christmas money I was given. I searched the internet for about two hours before picking them out. Mine felt about a half size small the first time I put them on, so I called with my concern. I was told the always stretch out a bit and to give them a chance and if they continued to feel small, I could return them for a little larger size. They did quickly break in and have fit perfectly ever since. I have referred four friends in buying these over the past two years. One did get slippers markedly too small and she exchanged them for a bigger pair that she has loved ever since. All of my friends, along with myself, swear these are the most comfortable, cozy and well made slippers we’ve ever had. As with any clothing, sometimes things don’t quite fit, if so, exchange them. Odds are you won’t need to, but the owners at Ithaca Sheepskin are simply the best you’ll ever find in friendliness and standing behind the amazing hand crafted goods they make. On a final note… after two years of wearing my slippers at least half the days out of each year, every stitch is still in place, they show almost no real signs of wear on the leather only soles, and are more comfortable than ever. They really are the best sheepskin slippers anywhere!

We found this company In search of a cozy American made pair of slippers, I received my sheepskin slippers in the mail yesterday and have not taken them off! My husband bought them for me to comfort me while I undergo surgery in 2 weeks, and I’m so glad he did. They are so soft, so warm, and feel so amazing on! I love them so much! Customer service was impeccable, they ask to allow for 4-6 weeks for shipping-my husband reached out and asked for a faster timeframe due to my operation-and they gladly made it happen for us! I love this company and cannot wait to buy a hat! Beautiful product, and a very happy customer am I!Also, most importantly MADE IN AMERICA!!!!

I received a pair of their slippers for a Christmas gift from my wife. She purchased the correct size (M12), but the slippers were very small. I understand they want the slippers to fit snuggly, but they were quite small — to the point where my toes are curled under. This makes them obviously uncomfortable, but the leather strap that outlines the bottom of the foot is is now under my heels. So, when I walk, I’m standing on the leather strap, which compounds the discomfort of the curled toes. The slippers were clearly marked with a 12 on the bottom, so this is what was intended. I’ve had numerous other pairs of sheepskin leather slippers, and these are by far the worst, and I’m astounded by the numerous good reviews. They are clearly well made, and I’m very grateful for the gift, but I would’ve needed at least a full size up just to be snug. If you buy these, definitely buy a larger size.
