He also gives a good price, at least for this area.

Peter cleaned our carpets basically for free as a package deal. Our kitchen and bathroom needs tile floors scrubbed and sealed. They really needed painting too. I paid Peter over $700 to clean and paint these two rooms. The work was absolutely PERFECT. He was done in 2 days, as promised. The day he painted, he was here about 9 hours. He made a few touch ups the next day and cleaned and sealed the tile and grout. The rooms were like new! To sweeten the deal, he threw in carpet cleaning of our living room and two bedrooms for FREE. My wife and I couldn’t be more happy. He was polite, clean and we can’t thank him enough.

Peter knows rugs. He came to my home to pick up two rugs for cleaning. Machine woven wool (Karastan), not super expensive, but hardly cheap. I also have a few hand knotted rugs. I asked if you could look at them for a quote. I knew what they were. First one a Persian rug. Mashad. Probably the most common Persian rug you will see. As soon as he walked in, I heard him say nice Mashad. OK. So I showed him a rug made in Pakistan. I knew it was going to be a bleeder. He immediately recognized it as being something difficult to clean. Then he told me about some chemicals he uses to control bleeding on rugs like this. He told me how much moisture he would remove before hanging to dry and that this may be a problem, but he knew how to handle it.There are a lot of carpet cleaners who would wreck a rug if you gave it to them. One of the Karastan rugs I was sending out was full of soap residue. It was cleaned by someone who has many good reviews, unfortunately he doesn’t even bother rinsing out your rug. Peter did a good job on these rugs.

This guy re-cleaned a carpet some other company cleaned two weeks ago. He is not easy to get a hold of, or make an appointment with. He seems busy. That’s the bad part. The good part is he does a very good job! The carpets will be completely dry in about 7 hours, not damp dry. He also gives a good price, at least for this area. In NYC, you can get carpets cleaned for about $20 per room, my parent’s house was cleaned for about $120 a few weeks ago. Not possible up here. The cleaner figures it is because he drives 10-15 miles between most jobs, which is an expense they don’t have in NYC, you might have two appointments in the same building or at least the same block there. Not perfect, but the best I found up here.
