DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Extremely dishonest business practices.We first hired Charlie a few years ago for a very small job, and he was great. It’s unclear what happened between then and now…Twice they took a deposit to hold a date to start work (a month in advance) and then didn’t hold the time and canceled the work two days prior. They don’t have an office staffed so it’s impossible to get in touch with anyone, they use an out of state call center so you get pushed to an answering service. They have one employee trying to manage what I imagine are many unhappy customers, she’s overwhelmed and does not know what’s going on.They made multiple site visits in order to provide an accurate quote, but it was a different person each time, and there was no communication between those people and the office, so the quotes were always wrong or missing information, and I spent hours answering the same questions over and over.We hired Charlie as a subcontractor, and only when asking for insurance documentation the week before the work was set to begin, did we find out that he had subcontracted the work to someone else without our knowledge and was not planning to be on site at all to oversee it. As clients, even though we hired him, we were not allowed to have his phone number, so we he wasn’t available if anything came up.After months of back and forth and struggling to come to a resolution with his employee to complete the work, he never once called to check in, despite the fact that I had promptly paid his invoices.

Hudson Valley Tile Installation was contacted to repair tile that had been removed around the faucet and valves in a 55-yr-old bath tub/shower and also in a shower stall in our church parsonage at New Paltz Church of the Nazarene. They provided timely service and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. They communicated well to set up the time that work would be done, showed up on time, and the workers were polite, efficient, and cleaned up when they were done.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Charlie and his team gave a sad little bathroom a new lease on life. They did a wonderful job tiling the shower and the floor. Voila! Highly recommend.
