Great location & atmosphere. Perfect spot for dinner after leaving Schlitterbahn. My 8 yr old brat & I loved our sliders, wings & pretzel bites w cheese. Our server Lisa was awesome.

I work across the street and placed an order for pickup as I was working by myself. I ordered a BYOB, plain no bun because I’m keto. A friend picked up my order for me. The $14.00 BYOB burger is hard to describe. Both patties together with cheese weighed in at a whopping 6.4 oz., that’s 3.2 oz per patty.The texture of this alleged meat is hard to explain. It was very dense and had an odd after-taste that a re-heated patty often gets at home. It looked more like a veggie burger. People who eat clean are very sensitive to textures and flavors.I called to speak to the manager on duty, Ann. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes and it is apparent that no one is ever coming back to this blinking line. I didn’t want a refund, I don’t want anything except to tell her how substandard and disappointing this burger was, and how if they want to succeed, they MUST do better. Every time that I’ve gotten food here, it has been disappointing in some way. This will be the last time.I have watched many restaurants fail on this corner over the years that I’ve worked here and it’s always for the same reason, poor quality food, and the national brand isn’t go to be enough to save this store.I’m not one to write mean reviews, but you can seriously get a better burger at Jack in the Box. I’m hanging up now. I have given up communicating with this store.Maybe the food is good here if you’ve been out drinking on a boat all day and are starving, but for everyone else, just go elsewhere. Galveston has so much better to offer than this garbage. As you can see, I ate half of it. Gross, but I was hungry.
