If you want a view of the Homer Spit; distant snow covered mountains; above the arm of Kachemak Bay, and the distant Cook Inlet then you need to stay at Baycrest RV Park.I doubt you can beat the view here when comparing other RV Parks. Baycrest RV Park isn’t huge, so walking around here will be quick. The employees in the office are very nice.This is great location if you want to be away from all the tourist spots because it is very quiet here. Of course the disadvantage is that you can’t walk to anything besides a gas station. If you have a travel trailer then unhitch and sight see, but if you have an RV then you might want to think about getting all your sight seeing out of the way prior to setup.

Great views from the campsites to the Bay and mountains beyond. The campground is located on a cliff above the Bay. Easy access from the highway, relatively level gravel sites, no low points to collect storm water around the campsites, gas and diesel station between the highway and campground. A family of eagles are nesting in the adjacent cliffs. Both show up around 7 soaring on the updrafts.I would definitely recommend.
