Nor what I expected really dirty. More souvenir shops than actual stores. It is not a family friendly atmosphere. Marijuana smoke filled the air the entire way.

Awesome place! One of those must-visit places in Los Angeles. If you are going look up the stars you want to find if you are looking for specific ones, because if not you will be looking at stars for hours! There are so many of them! Make sure not to miss the less famous streets, there are some cool stars there. Be aware that this is downtown LA, and you will hear, see, and occasionally smell the kinds of things that you would in the downtown of a city of millions of people.

Even with all the freaks and tourists, great deals at the shops. I scored at the Harley Davidson Store. I bought 2 shirts and a riding jacket. The owners gave me a really good deal too. I highly recommend this Harley store.

Amazing experience if you are in Southern California!! Many booths to buy things like art work and souvenirs, plenty of places to get food and a drink !! The Chinese movie theater is sweet
