This was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever experienced before… I will NEVER EVER rent for HERTZ again! Firstly, they need a more professional and knowledgeable rep to work in the office. After spending 2 hours waiting for my car, I still ended up leaving without a car, all they keep telling me was ‘it’ll be ready shortly.’ NEVER AGAIN !!

The State St. office of Hertz has turned from great to horrible in the last year since they lost a good manager. just look at all the 1 rating since the review that mentions the very good managerleft. In the last year 1 ratings have been 68% or the reviews (13 out 0f 19) and 21% 5 ratings. looking at the first 23 reviews since the good manager left 1 ratings were 26% (6 of 23) and 5 ratings were 48% (11 out of 23) reviews.3 out of 4 interactions with employees were what I would rank very poor customer service.The main reason I did this research was that they charged $148.97 on what should have been a $97.41 (34.5% overcharge). My rating would be zero if that were possible. Point to Hertz management the average rating has gone from 3.57 to a 2.15 rating and I happen to see rhe Yelp rating of only 4 ratings that averaged 1.25. Fix it before you have to close this office. Don’t ever rent from here they say one thing and do the other. I rented a vehicle and brong it back the 8th and was chares till the 10th I’ve been in contact with there company for weeks till now they contact me to say that they were Closed and they used to charge me till then so I was charged for time I never use. They charged me over 900 dollars and had my account over draft. Mean while one of there employees told me to do so. If they had told me not to then I would have but instead they told me the wrong information and I get charged for it. I would never ever rent from them again neither would friends and family.
