I was doing work for the Hertz and the lady who was working was the most informative person I’ve witnessed in awhile.. all of her customers seemed to be in a better mood after being dealt with .. small location so the employee was moving around quite a bit .. worker of the year award .. highly recommend

I made a reservation for this past Saturday. I took an Uber there. This is during Covid-19. I wanted to rent a car because it’s safer than taking a Uber everywhere. I chose that location because it was closest to my house and I got a great deal with the corporate discount. I arrived and no one from Hertz was there. I didn’t know what to do, I called Hertz corporate it rang for 30 minutes and then hung up. So I decided to call the closest Hertz, they said they would be able to assist me but I needed to change the location by calling corporate, I did and I explained to them how the one I’m going to is going to close but the manager is keeping it open for me. They cancelled my reservation without informing me. So I had to do a walk-in cost me nearly three times as much of the regular price. I called the Hertz location that was connected to this Hertz, I asked for the manager the manager is not in, I asked the person I was talking to if I can get a refund or a free rental for my inconvenience. They said no there is nothing he can do and proceeded to give me the run around I should call billing or call the place I got the car from. But they directed me to the Hertz I was talking to. I asked when will Akia the manager be in, he said she’s on vacation he doesn’t know when she will come back. Which is odd because I know when my manager comes back from vacation I’ve known with all my managers. If the manager doesn’t tell you when she is coming back she is not a good manager. I chose Hertz because I heard great things about their customer service. My first time ever renting a car and it was the most terrible experience. I will no longer do business with Hertz.
