…I’ve shopped here often just looking for projects or items that could be used to complete a project. I’ve always been treated with kindness and found the employees to be helpful and kind. Today however, was a different experience. When I checked our, i asked if they still gave a veteran discount. The cashier promptly responded with we have NEVER given a veteran discount . Everything is ready marked down. I replied back that, I have ALWAYS gotten a veteran discount. The cashier commented that’s probably why that individual is no longer here. As I walked to the car, I thought how rude of her speak of someone like that. How does she even know who I was referring to? I went back to the store to inform her of how rude I thought her comment was. We exchanged a few words and she muttered something about having to give the elderly a discount too
