Tasty food but small portions and steep prices for what you get.

Hungover staff doesn’t make for the best service early Sunday morning…

Stopped by Helena Avenue Bakery for lunch during my trip to Santa Barbara. It was one of my favorite places we dined at during the entire trip! We got the BLT, the pastrami sandwich, and wildflower honey ricotta toast. The sandwiches were delicious, but the honey ricotta toast was AMAZING! I would probably go everyday if I lived in Santa Barbara 🙂

We got eggs with green, the salmon bagel, and cappuccino. The eggs were so good. The salmon was so tasty but was a little bit salty for me. My husband liked the cappuccino for me it was so strong. The outside area was amazing. The birds were flying around us. The atmosphere is so nice and calm. I would definitely come again.

Stopped here before my wife and I started to head out of Santa Barbara. Wow, what a wonderful surprise! My wife had the green eggs and ham sandwich and I had the breakfast sandwich. The eggs on both were fo fluffy and the brioche bun was tastey and fluffy! If you’re split besides the two, I’d order the green eggs and ham sandwich. To finish we had the Elvis. If you’re into peanut butter, this is spectacular. My wife didn’t like the combo very much, but this was right up my alley. We’d definitely visit again.
