I was telling my friend about my car troubles and the issues I’ve had with taking my vehicle to a chain auto repair shop and the two Ford dealerships (Orange county and Riverside) and my somewhat unique situation of having an interlock device in my vehicle. My friend took the initiative and helped me find Harvey’s Autotech… He spoke with Lynn; they discussed what was going on with my vehicle and my interlock, which they were more than accommodating to help work around if needed. The next day I took my car into Harvey’s. My vehicle was assigned to Harold – he diagnosed and fixed the water pump and thermostat. The next day I went to a Valvoline to get my oil changed and they said I had a silicone seal around the plug and they refused to do an oil change. So I went back to Harvey’s and Harold checked the plug (which was fine) and he did the oil change and also checked the rattling noise in my car. That rattle was bad motor mounts. Between Lynn, Jonathan and Harold I was able to relaxed and know my vehicle was in excellent hands. They explained what was going on and NEVER ONCE did I feel like I was talked down to or as if I ‘wouldn’t know so why explain’ attitude I always run into, even at the chain shops. Never once did they make me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable with having a device in my car, ALWAYS professional and excellent customer service. I highly recommend taking your vehicle maintenance to Harvey’s Autotech.

My car is lowered..and MANY mechanics frown when they have to get it on lift.. BUT Harvey the owner was insistent on accommodating me and getting it on lift..after a few 2×4 wood blocks and some effort we got it in the air.. The small oil leak was fixed it 2 minutes and was charged a nominal fee.. Harvey himself is a Lexus driver, which is a big plus. Very courteous staff and service. I base my review based on 20 other mechanics I’ve dealt with. Strongly recommend this place…THEY DONT CHARGE YOU just to look at your car and find the potential problem…A+++
