Had a very good experience at the store in New Hartford today 5/25/21. Dave, the supervisor, was great and didn’t mind taking his time to direct me towards areas of interest and explaining how a certain tool is used while stressing safety precautions. He explained discounts in plain language and exhibited good character and patience to me and my girl friend. He is a genuine asset to the company. If I were still in business I’d hire him in a New York minute as they say.

This unknown to me, hidden gem blew me away! I was vaguely familiar with the name but not quite what they offer. Today, I spent over an hour perusing the aisles like a giddy school girl. I just love tools and I’m an avid DIY’er, really handy gal overall, but I’ve always just been programmed to go to Home Depot. This store is a treasure trove of unique tools, tools you need that you didn’t know you needed until you saw them, and overall hard-to-find bits for any project. Pricing is extremely competitive, but I still needed know my prices, and also recognize that for bigger projects, or to keep consistent with my current line of power tools, this won’t become my one-stop-shop. It will however, be a definite go-to for comparisons going forward. I walked out with an armful of great finds for a fraction of what I would have spent elsewhere and the quality seems comparable for the most part. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out all these years. Oh, and the staff was friendly and helpful, too. Win-win!
