I have been going here since buying my boat in 2005. This is the true definition of a mom & pop shop. Rick and Toni are extremely knowledgeable about the products that they sell and they stand behind their merchandise. Rick is a top-notch boat mechanic and has performed major repairs for me many times, including when I bottomed out my boat and nearly destroyed it. They are honest in their work as well as their pricing. I’ve gone in working on projects many times and they’ve suggested more cost-effective methods, whereas most establishments would typically be more focused on selling more merchandise. They are very fair with their pricing. I’ve seen Rick slash the costs for his labor time when he could have charged me a bundle. The turnaround time for repairs is fast. They both bend over backwards to help their customers. Hanaford’s is a model of how businesses should operate.

This is an excellent boat retail & repair shop!! I would recommend Rick to anyone in boating.I’ve grown up in a boating-family and lived on the Hudson River in my free time via my parents boats, friends boats, and my jet ski’s my entire life.I sold the jet skis, and purchased my first 20ft Stingray boat. Unfortunately, this first-boat-purchase needed a LOT of work.Rick’s expertise was recommended by family, friends, and other local boat & repair shops in the area. Last season a new transom, motor, gimbal housing, & out-drive were installed in my 20ft Stingray!Today, my Stingray is in better than new condition, and I owe it all to Rick & his wife!Rick & his wife are both trustworthy kind-souls, that will give you the time & attention you need, while giving you a fair price!I would give them a 10 out of 10.
