As ANOTHER watch collector, I brought a VERY rare (especially stateside) watch to get serviced, but instead of getting it back… the watch supposedly got “lost”. I never got my watch back. Cut to a month later, he told me he would “reimburse me” and told to me to pick some watches. My understanding was that these watches were going to be mine as a reimbursement for losing my watch. I then go another week later to supposedly go for one of these watches… he only let me pick out one and told me the rest were for me to buy. He told me “a watch for a watch”. Yet the watch I have, is not worth as much as the other one. So not only does he not conduct business in a professional manner, but he also can’t even explain a simple informal agreement.Don’t go here for any watch needs. Whether you need a battery change or a full service of your crazy complex mechanical chronograph.
